MERCER KEEBLE PR APPOINTED BY KINGDOM SCOTLAND, SCOTLAND’S FIRST FRAGRANCE HOUSE
Mercer Keeble PR is delighted to announce their appointment by Kingdom Scotland, the first Scottish fine fragrance house.
Kingdom Scotland is a timeless realm explored in scent. The brand was founded in Scotland's capital city Edinburgh in 2019 by Imogen Russon-Taylor, who is of Scottish French heritage. The collection of unique unisex perfumes tell rich and majestic stories in fragrance. Sustainable, ethical and utterly complex, each scent celebrates the beauty and drama of the natural world.
Having studied Geology at Edinburgh University, Imogen’s love of the Scottish landscape is the guiding inspiration behind Kingdom Scotland. Each of the perfumes has a sense of magic and escape evoked by the drama of the natural world. Nature is at the very heart of Kingdom Scotland's creative process.
Prior to founding Kingdom Scotland, Imogen had a prolific 20 year career in the luxury goods arena, notably in the aromatic world of luxury whisky. The multi-faceted, complexity of the Kingdom fragrances is fi rmly rooted in her training in the drinks industry.
Imogen has been tireless in her search for the finest natural ingredients, sustainability options, complexity and different notes expertly blended in Scotland. She researched intensively with St Andrew's University and The Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh to create Kingdom Scotland and its debut scents. The scents are sustainable, ethical, traceable, and vegan. A proportion of the brand’s profits go towards vital biodiversity research at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh in the face of climate change.
The current collection comprises four unique fragrances, Metamorphic, Portal, Albaura and Kingdom Botanica. All of the scents are gender-neutral Eau de Parfum. They are available in 50ml, 7.5ml sizes as well as a Discovery Set of 4 x 2ml.
The products can be found in selected stores within Scotland including Harrods, H Beauty Edinburgh, The Cabinet Apothecary at The Gleneagles Hotel, The Balmoral Spa at The Balmoral Hotel and also in Belgravia, London at the Les Senteurs boutique.
AURUM BY GUðBJÖRG CELEBRATE 25th ANNIVERSARY WITH NEW ALVÖR COLLECTION
This season sees Icelandic jeweller Aurum launch their newest collection ALVÖR as part of the brand’s 25th Anniversary celebrations.
The range is inspired by the origins of the Icelandic people and their cultural heritage. Goldsmith and head designer Guðbjörg grew up surrounded by the natural beauty of the Westfjords with its magnificent mountains and landscape around Bolungarvík, where history is in every step.
The collection nods to Iceland’s seafaring and fishing heritage, from the woven fishing nets and angular shape of the salt houses and drying sheds to the sheer and majestic mountain which dominates the landscape.
The range is characterised by geometric forms, open patterns, sharp and soft. It glides up fingers, swings in ears and needs space on the neck and hand. The pieces posses strength and lightness, not unlike armour worn in the past, which also had the role of protection.
As an Icelandic business Aurum are very aware of the power of nature and of preserving their natural environment for future generations. All the company’s production is entirely based in Iceland and Iceland generates 100% of its energy from renewable sources.
Head designer and goldsmith Guðbjörg Kristín Ingvarsdóttir adds:
"Sustainability is at the heart of our brand's values and our cultural heritage is the key to protecting our sense of self. The natural beauty of the Westfjords is astounding and they are very dear to me. Growing up there, with these magnificent mountains, history, landscapes and contrasts in nature all around me, has given me so much inspiration for the design of the new jewellery line ALVÖR. This is where my roots and the roots of my ancestors are.”

MERCER KEEBLE PR APPOINTED BY DEMI-FINE JEWELLERY BRAND GOLD TRIP
Mercer Keeble PR is delighted to announce their appointment by demi-fine jewellery brand, Gold Trip.
Gold Trip is an independent, British jewellery brand, based in London and founded by Michelle Gay. Inspired by wanderlust, and formed on a belief that beautiful, quality jewellery can be design-led, affordable, and superior quality.
Michelle’s pivot into the jewellery world came from a marketing and sales background in design and ultra-luxury automobiles. During her previous career, she travelled regularly around the world to meet clients and press and found she needed design-led, high-quality jewellery that looked and felt luxurious, but that could easily be transported or left in luggage and worn on the beach, without undue concern.
Taking a lifelong jewellery obsession and her love of design and manufacturing, Michelle founded Gold Trip in 2021. Originally run from her apartment at Battersea Power Station, Michelle launched Gold Trip to offer exactly the type of jewellery she had been looking for all those years.
Using her design and CMF expertise, Gold Trip offers contemporary pieces, crafted from hallmarked 925 sterling silver, and plated in either rhodium or 18ct gold, with many designs featuring freshwater pearls, enamel and cubic zirconia, natural and semi-precious gemstones.
Alongside some UK-based suppliers, Michelle is proud to work with small, family-owned workshops in the Far East. With a background in Mandarin studies from the Beijing Language & Culture University, Michelle has combined her love of the Chinese language and culture with her extensive travel throughout China. After founding Gold Trip, she took her passion for design and knowledge of manufacturing processes back to the Far East where she built relationships with Gold Trip’s now long-standing trusted suppliers and craftspeople.
Adamant that the brand should use precious metals wherever possible, Gold Trip is also flying the flag for affordable sustainability. Silver and gold jewellery can be repaired, replated and repurposed for decades to come, meaning its environmental impact is much lower than fashion and stainless steel jewellery.
Gold Trip’s range of jewellery includes options for any occasion, from work and weekends, to summer holidays and weddings. With its fine styling, pieces can be easily layered and stacked for a bolder look or worn solo to simply elevate the everyday. All Gold Trip jewellery is presented in beautiful and reusable gift packaging, perfect for treating yourself or others.
